<p>Leverkusen drew 1-1 with St Pauli in the Bundesliga on Sunday, meaning that Bayern are now on the verge of title glory. Kane scored as the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/harry-kane-bayern-munich-star-nine-points-clear-top-bundesliga-thumping-win-heidenheim/blt3b7bc71fbe7f8164" target="_blank">Bavarian giants beat Heidenheim 4-0 on Saturday</a> and he is now within touching distance of ending a trophy drought that has plagued his entire career.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Bayern can win the Bundesliga next weekend but they would need results to go in their favour for the title to be officially won. They have 72 points, while Leverkusen have 64 and, with four games remaining, Xabi Alonso's side can reach a maximum of 76 points. As a result, a win for Bayern next weekend and Leverkusen failing to win would crown Kane and Co. Otherwise, if both sides win, Bayern will have to wait until the following weekend. </p>

WHEN CAN BAYERN WIN THE LEAGUE?

<p>Kane has finished second multiple times in his career, with Tottenham, England, and with Bayern. In finals, he has come up short six times. Not only has he tasted defeat twice in European Championship finals with England, he also lost the Champions League final with Spurs and two League Cup finals. Last season, Bayern were defeated in the German Super Cup final, too. </p>
