WHAT HAPPENED?

But the Inter Miami man returned for his country and has since led them to back-to-back South American titles as well as the World Cup in 2022.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Kane's three goals at Euro 2024 take his total tally for the campaign to 47. The former Tottenham goalscorer has looked tired at points this summer but there is no denying that he has enjoyed one of his best seasons in front of goal. Yet, again, he has ended it trophyless.
