Slot has now responded to the links with a hilarious answer.

The Bavarian side have made <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/bayern-munich-struggle-xabi-alonso-race-feyenoord-arne-slot-candidate-replace-thomas-tuchel/blt7b6dbb29101f88ec" target="_blank">Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso</a> their main target to take over next season but his signing may prove difficult with Liverpool also linked closely. Therefore, they are also <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/zinedine-zidane-manage-harry-kane-bayern-perfect-club-him-after-thomas-tuchel-exit/bltbfe6e455faa69152" target="_blank">thought to be looking at other options including Zinedine Zidane</a>.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Dutchman will have his focus trained on Feyenoord for the time being as the club is currently fighting an uphill battle against PSV to win the Eredivisie. They will next be in action when they take on Heracles on Sunday, March 10.
