<p>When looking at an old photo of them together at Tottenham, he told Sky Sports: "The picture was taken in 2016. [Dele was] One of my best mates, I would say. When I first came to Spurs he was very kind, he tried to help me settle in well. We still have contact. He's doing okay. He's just moved to Italy, so he was making some jokes with me. He was talking to Italians, so he said, 'By the way, I'm Italian now'. <p>Alli was seen as one of the best young players in the world in his early twenties and Son earned a reputation of being a top Premier League forward.
