<p>Luiz has been linked with a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/douglas-luiz-premier-league-return-juventus-outcast-newcastle-nottingham-forest/blt3a1f1719a9cd553b#cs2e49166fad1c16a4" target="_blank">move away from Juventus</a> this summer after spending just a year in Turin. According to <a href="https://www.tuttosport.com/news/calcio/calciomercato/2025/06/18-141437631/quanto_vale_douglas_luiz_il_mercato_juve_e_la_pi_grande_grana_di_comolli/2" target="_blank"><em>Tuttosport</em></a>, newly promoted Premier League side Leeds United have reportedly shown interest in the Brazilian and the Bianconeri are willing to let him leave, provided they receive €40m (£34.5m/$44m) in transfer fee.   </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The report adds that the Whites might not agree to match Juventus' asking price, but they could still manage to sign the player as the Serie A giants could consider sending him on a year-long loan with an option to buy him for €30m next summer, so that the Italian side do not incur a net loss.  </p><p></p>
