Toney has been one of the most hotly discussed commodities in the Premier League as the summer transfer window draws ever closer. It has been <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/manchester-united-surprise-sign-ivan-toney-brentford-sir-jim-ratcliffe-leaders/blt8aa88450b6541daa" target="_blank">reported earlier that Brentford have set a £50 million ($63m) asking price</a> for the 28-year-old striker, however, the Bees boss remains adamant that the club has not done so.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Speaking to the media, Frank said: "You should ask Phil Giles (director of football) and Matthew Benham (owner) about that because they will be even better to answer that question. I'm pretty sure the answer will be that there is no price."I think it's all about the narrative. If you can score five goals in five then suddenly your price is through the roof. If a striker performs consistently over time then there is a good price. I know Ivan is a good player and he's proven that many times. Last season he was fantastic, he made his full England debut and I think he's a very good player."

WHAT FRANK SAID

The 28-year-old has been a long-term target for <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/man-utd-could-consider-signing-ivan-toney-chelsea-arsenal-cool-interest-brentford-star/blt42aec7a0f866a2ce" target="_blank">Chelsea and Arsenal for quite a few months now, while United have only recently become interested</a> in the services that Toney has to offer as they now seem to not want to place all their bets solely on Rasmus Hojlund.
