As the Herons trailed 1-0 in the 26th minute, the 21-year-old put his elbow up to protect in an attempt to shield the ball away from Shaffelburg but went through the Nashville forward's jaw and was only shown a yellow card for his offence. <p>The defensive midfielder will likely return to action when Inter Miami take on Montreal in Major League Soccer action on March 10. He will also face Shaffelburg and Nashville again in the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League round of 16 on March 13.</p>
