Musiala is under contract until 2026 and has yet to enter into negotiations with the club to extend that deal.

Madrid view the Germany international as a potential backup for Jude Bellingham, while City believe he could thrive under the management of Pep Guardiola. He could also potentially replace Kevin De Bruyne, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/revealed-extortionate-transfer-fee-man-city-kevin-de-bruyne-saudi-pro-league/blt8667701e9561a395#csba2b8b10f14a23d9" target="_blank">who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia</a>. Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are also monitoring developments, as Musiala is said to be very keen on a move to England.

In six games thus far this season, Musiala has scored three goals and provided three assists in six games in all competitions. Last season, he scored 12 goals and laid on eight assists in 38 games, before scoring three times for Germany at Euro 2024.
