Soon after the transfer was confirmed, the Dutchman used the eyes emoji when someone on X wrote, "Moving clubs with your mate must be a top-tier feeling."</p>

WHAT FRIMPONG SAID

<p>Liverpool <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/liverpool-player-ratings-tottenham-party-alexis-mac-allister-mohamed-salah-premier-league-title/bltfc91b236fda08fd4" target="_blank">romped to the Premier League title </a>this term, managed to retain key duo <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/liverpool-keep-captain-virgil-van-dijk-joins-mohamed-salah-extending-contract-anfield-arne-slot-project/blt83a64acdeca54d78#cs3168c567774cd8f5" target="_blank">Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah</a>, and now have signed dangerous Leverkusen pair Wirtz and Frimpong. Wirtz said he wants to win "everything" at the Reds and with signings like this, Arne Slot's team could be a force to be reckoned with for a while yet.</p>
