The Turkish club are acutely aware of the need to sign a new striker this summer, with Edin Dzeko's contract expiring and both Cenk Tosun and Youssef En-Nesyri available for transfer.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>According to the report, Fener sporting director Mario Branco is poised to travel to England to begin negotiations with United over a move for the 22-year-old. The club hope to sign the Denmark international on loan with an option to buy but it is unclear if United will countenance that prospect.</p>
