<p>After leaving Liverpool last summer, Klopp cut short a sabbatical to take up a position as <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jurgen-klopp-lands-new-job-former-liverpool-boss-signs-long-term-contract-cut-short-sabbatical-start-january/blt2940ee8b793694dc#csba981e088a5ac4f1" target="_blank">Global Head of Soccer at Red Bull</a> and began work at the start of 2025. According to <a href="https://www.uol.com.br/esporte/colunas/mercado-da-bola/2025/04/16/insatisfeito-na-red-bull-klopp-aceitaria-negociar-com-cbf-e-real-madrid.htm" target="_blank"><em>UOL</em></a>, Klopp is "increasingly worn out" in his new role and "his dissatisfaction has been a recurring theme" recently. The former Liverpool boss is therefore being tipped to make a return to management with either Real Madrid or Brazil.</p><p></p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The CBF is currently searching for a placement for Dorival Jr, with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/carlo-ancelotti-jorge-jesus-brazil-dorival-jr-s-successor-real-madrid-boss-told-president-s-dream-signing/bltdd2b7502edad9641" target="_blank">Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti and and Al-Hilal manager Jorge Jesus</a> believed to be in the running. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/real-madrid-want-jurgen-klopp-los-blancos-mulling-shock-approach-ex-liverpool-boss-replace-carlo-ancelotti/bltc6f0f185d5eaa8a1#cs687389288525b380" target="_blank">Xabi Alonso and Klopp have been both linked as potential options</a> to replace Ancelotti, whose future in the Spanish capital is likely to come under further scrutiny if he fails to deliver a trophy this season. According to<em> UOL</em>, sources close to Klopp have confirmed that he would only consider leaving Red Bull to take over at Brazil or in Madrid.</p><p></p>

<p>Klopp returning to management so quickly would be a shock, although the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jurgen-klopp-management-return-liverpool-coaching-red-bull/blt9016151463dd57ad#cs225343ace3a80151" target="_blank">German did refuse to rule out taking up a future coaching</a> role back in January. </p>
