WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Lehmann made only 15 Women's Super League appearances last campaign for Villa and scored two goals as she was battling an injury for the bulk of the season. However, that did not prevent Juventus from offering her a contract as coach Massimiliano Canzi has immense trust in her potential.</p>

<p>After completing her move to Juventus, Lehmann said: "I'm overjoyed, Juve has a great history. So much so that I have to be honest: I was a bit nervous when I got out of my car for my medical check-up at J|Medical and saw so many fans. But everything is great.</p><p>“For Douglas and me to be together in the same club is a dream. We have often played in different cities, so being able to have these great adventures in the same place is something wonderful.”</p>
