According to <a href="https://sport.sky.it/calciomercato/2024/06/27/juventus-thuram-news-calciomercato" target="_blank">Sky Italia,</a> the Italian giants are keen to sign the Nice midfielder, who is valued at around £12-15 million (€15-18m/$16-19m). With the Old Lady trying to strengthen their midfield, the Serie A team are said to be keen on recruiting the 23-year-old - who is out of contract in 2025. However, <a href="https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/real-madrid/khephren-thuram-suplir-kroos-104375255" target="_blank">Tuttosport</a> claims that Real Madrid have also been offered the player, though it is not known if he is on their list of targets to replace Toni Kroos.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The report adds Juventus are closing in on signing Douglas Luiz and are trying to retain the services Adrien Rabiot, as they try to strengthen their midfield. The 6ft 4in midfielder Thuram has shone for Nice since joining them in 2019 but this would be a step up for the one-time France international.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Thuram's father Lillian played 204 times for Juventus between 2001-06 and together they won two Serie A titles and one Supercoppa Italiana. If Khephren joins Juventus, he could come up against his older brother Marcus - who plays as a striker for Inter.

Khephren, who has racked up 167 appearances and scored nine goals for Nice, will wait and see in the coming days and weeks what happens over his future. He will be due to come back for pre-season in the coming weeks, though.
