<p>The Manchester City captain <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/pep-guardiola-drops-kyle-walker-bombshell-after-leaving-man-city-star-out-fa-cup-win-salford-city/bltd7167cead16517e2" target="_blank">informed manager Pep Guardiola he wanted to leave</a> the club earlier this month. Walker has been linked with a move to several teams from the Saudi Pro League, but it has been reported he would rather stay in Europe to work on his marriage to Kilner.</p>

<p>Serie A giants AC Milan are considered favourites to secure the England star's signature. <a href="https://www.calciomercato.com/news/milan-walker-affare-in-dirittura-arrivo-tutti-i-dettagli-63618" target="_blank"><em>Calciomercato</em></a> has reported that while Milan have made Walker's signing their top priority for the January window, they are <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/kyle-walker-man-city-story-england-defender-ac-milan-transfer-loan/blt29f02d99ebade73d#csebb391b42308806a" target="_blank">proposing an initial loan move</a> with an option to buy him in the summer for €5m. As part of the loan deal, the Rossoneri are willing to pay €1m up front.</p>

<p>Per the <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14287229/Kyle-Walker-Annie-Kilner-Manchester-Milan.html" target="_blank"><em>Daily Mail</em></a>, Walker and Kilner are likely to initially live in a hotel should they move to Italy. At the top of a prospective shortlist is the Bulgari Hotel, where the most expensive suite costs a staggering €20,000 (£16,863/$20,538) a night.</p>
