<p>Real Madrid prodigy Endrick was <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/real-madrid-player-ratings-vs-sevilla-kylian-mbappe-jude-bellingham/bltbf2a917b6370f4c4" target="_blank">handed a rare start</a> during Los Blancos’ recent La Liga outing against Sevilla, but his performance fell far short of expectations. Once hailed as a future superstar, the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/endrick-blasted-theatrical-stuff-rare-start-real-madrid-brazilian-wonderkid-cut-out-tricks/blt8590af470341c3c3" target="_blank">Brazilian forward struggled to leave his mark</a> on the game with his poor decision-making and finishing in attack. Unimpressed with his output, manager Carlo Ancelotti chose to substitute the 17-year-old early in the second half.</p>

<p>Endrick’s underwhelming showing comes in the context of a season in which he has been afforded limited playing time. While his talent is unquestioned, the teenager has found it difficult to gain rhythm and consistency amid sporadic opportunities. This is not going to change in the near future as Vinicius and Mbappe are expected to dominate Real Madrid’s frontline next season as well. </p>

<p>In light of the current situation, former Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes has advised Endrick to consider a temporary move away from the Santiago Bernabeu.</p><p>Speaking to <em>CasinoHawks</em>, who offer the latest <a href="https://www.casinohawks.com/" target="_blank">online casinos</a>, Morientes said: "In the case of Endrick and all the young players coming in, I think he's had the opportunity to be in the first team, but has only gotten a few minutes, like Arda Guler. If I were one of those players, I wouldn't mind going out on loan for a year, showing that I'm a great striker, developing in any competition, in the Premier League, in La Liga, in any important team."</p><p>To further his point, Morientes pointed to past success stories, particularly that of Dani Carvajal. The current Real Madrid right-back spent a year in Germany with Bayer Leverkusen, where he flourished and returned to Madrid as a first-choice option.</p><p>"If you have the level, then you will return. But all these types of players who are 18, 19, 20 years old and are in the shadow of players like Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius, you'll get very few minutes during the year if things go well," he added.</p><p>"At that age, I think it's good to continue developing your talent elsewhere. Look at Dani Carvajal, Carvajal didn't have a place at Real Madrid. He went to Germany. He was the best player on his team. He had two fantastic seasons. He returned with a higher status and as a starter, without any problems. In the case of Endrick, who almost has a closed door to that starting role, I wouldn't mind him going on loan so he could develop his full potential."</p>

<p>Real Madrid face Real Sociedad this Saturday, and with little at stake in terms of league standings, Ancelotti may once again turn to Endrick to showcase his potential. </p>
