<p>Yamal certainly earned his holiday, registering a <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/lamine-yamal-prove-himself-real-madrid-legend-picks-another-star-ballon-d-or-barcelona-sensation/blt83f2a0c891d0fa45" target="_blank">breathtaking 2024-25 season</a> with 21 goals and 25 assists in all competitions, plus a first La Liga title and two other domestic cup triumphs in the Copa Del Rey and Supercopa de Espana. Given those achievements, it's hardly surprising that Barca have let the precocious teenager hit "full vacay mode" during his off-season.</p>

<p>Yamal turns 18 on July 13 and is set to mark his birthday by signing a huge new deal with his boyhood club. After cementing his place as a crucial Barca starter and one of the best players in Europe last season, the wonderkid <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/eye-watering-details-lamine-yamal-blockbuster-new-barcelona-contract-revealed-top-earners/bltb6f70442d3d66cbd" target="_blank">La Masia graduate</a> is reportedly set to step up to an eye-watering €15 million (£12.5m/$17m) base salary per season, rising to a potential €20m (£17m/$23m) with bonuses.</p>
