A day after the game, Liverpool talisman Mohamed Salah shared a cryptic photograph on social media of himself alongside Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil van Dijk. <p>Liverpool fans were left guessing with the X post as they were quick to react to their star player's photograph.</p><p>A fan named <a href="https://x.com/AlexJHilton/status/1876241704225042790" target="_blank">Alex Hilton</a> wrote: "Interesting choice of pic."</p><p>Another Reds supporter named <a href="https://x.com/jahin14/status/1876242694089171256" target="_blank">Jahin</a> wrote: "Interesting photo selection here…"</p><p>An Arsenal fan with the X handle named <a href="https://x.com/Salibasexual02/status/1876243452931035548" target="_blank">Big Willy</a> wrote: "Smart photo to put the heat on the club."</p><p><a href="https://x.com/DistanceCovered/status/1876245720304689466" target="_blank">Josh Williams</a> wrote: "So unbelievably bored of these vague guessing games. <p>Alexander-Arnold has been <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/liverpool-massive-contract-extension-trent-alexander-arnold-worth-gbp78m-free-transfer-real-madrid/blt6b49aea9706ba04c" target="_blank">strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid</a> and the Spanish giants reportedly placed their first bid with Liverpool on New Year's Eve only to face rejection. Los Blancos, however, remain confident of landing the England international either in January for a meagre transfer fee or for free in the summer. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/jamie-carragher-verdict-mohamed-salah-virgil-van-dijk-stay-at-liverpool/bltb789dc1e1c495272#cs5859495c6b2afe34" target="_blank">Salah and Van Dijk</a> too are yet to commit their futures and the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/mohamed-salah-reiterates-last-six-months-liverpool-contract-standoff/bltc8e162eb2f035c0e#cs4a64ed4e675712ff" target="_blank">Egyptian recently admitted</a> that he still isn't any closer to signing a new contract with the Premier League giants. </p>
