The Palace defender has been a target for multiple top clubs in the Premier League, but Liverpool have emerged as favourites for his signature. Guehi has 12 months remaining on his deal.</p>

<p>His contract situation will limit Palace's ability to recoup maximum profit. They had previously valued the player at £70m, but the Mirror believes they will accept a fee of £40m. Chelsea have a 20% sell-on clause, which was agreed when Guehi swapped West for South London for an £18m fee in 2021. </p>
