<p>The defender has been in a constant battle with injury problems in recent years, most recently sustaining a knock just before the new Premier League season started. James <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/reece-james-more-injury-misery-chelsea-star-comeback-from-hamstring-problem-put-on-hold/blt4bbf8092dbb41a9d" target="_blank">suffered yet another setback last month</a>, further delaying his return.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>It is not yet known when James, who has played in just three matches in 2024, will be available again for Blues coach Enzo Maresca, but the 24-year-old took to Instagram to share an update on his situation on Tuesday.</p>

<p>The England international shared a collection of pictures on Instagram, including one of him in training, adding in the caption: "Long story short I’m doing well. hope to see you soon."</p><p>One of the pictures carried a message that read: "Life always gets crazy before blessings come.
