<p>Doncic was surprisingly traded to Los Angeles after being the face of the Dallas Mavericks since being drafted in 2018. Before coming to the NBA, the Slovenian rose to prominence as a member of Real Madrid, averaging 16 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists in the Euroleague - the second-biggest basketball competition in the world - in his last year with the Spanish club. </p>
