<p>Quizzed again on the links to Salah at the FIFA Club World Cup draw, PSG’s Qatari supremo Al-Khelaifi told reporters: "I love Salah, also because he came from our part of the world. I am very proud of him, honestly, for what he's done in the Premier League with Liverpool. And I have big respect for him and for Liverpool. So we never talked to him. Respect Liverpool and respect the player - he has a contract with Liverpool and we never talked to him."</p>

WHAT AL-KHELAIFI SAID

<p>Al-Khelaifi recently told <a href="https://x.com/Plettigoal/status/1863931679229858003 " target="_blank"><em>Sky Deutschland</em></a> when <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/liverpool-talisman-mohamed-salah-labelled-amazing-nasser-al-khelaifi-psg-president-addresses-transfer-rumours/blt0a85cfa789e487dc#cs60231e276d9f35ac" target="_blank">pressed on the Salah links</a>: "It’s not true. He’s a fantastic and amazing player, but we’ve never considered him, to be honest. We know every club would love to have him, but this rumour about us is simply not true."</p>
