<p>The Croatian captain offered endless praise for the French skipper ahead of their return clash in the Nations League quarter-final. Modric explained that he believes Mbappe is capable of winning multiple trophies with Madrid and even a number of Ballon d'Or trophies himself. The French forward has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/kylian-mbappe-honest-assessment-of-form-superstar-speaks-out-on-real-madrid-struggles/bltbfde8b96ff37524e" target="_blank">not had his best season in his debut campaign</a> in the Spanish capital but has still hit 29 goals in all competitions so far. Modric expects him to continue to develop and grow.</p>

He has so much ability, honestly, it's something I've rarely seen. But what impresses me most about him is his personality. He's an incredible boy, very humble, always ready to make jokes, to help his teammates. He's calm. From the outside, you could say that this isn't his best season, but he's already at around thirty goals... Imagine if he raises his level.</p><p>"He's an incredible talent, one of the best I've seen. He's a wonderful boy. Let him keep doing what he's doing, let him keep helping Real Madrid win titles, and I'm sure he'll be one of the favourites in the future, not to win one but several Ballon d'Ors."</p>
