According to BBC Sport, there were a few boos from the Centre Court audience as the manager took his seat to watch Britain's Cameron Norrie and Germany's Alexander Zverev.

Guardiola attended the All England Club with his wife, Cristina, and shared the Royal Box with former England football manager Roy Hodgson along with several other luminaries from the sporting world. Incidentally, this was Hodgson's first public appearance since a recent health scare. Also present were England cricket stars Joe Root, Ben Stokes, and Jos Buttler, as well as Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
