After years of inconsistency at previous clubs, the Italy international now finds himself on the radar of top European sides, including United, as revealed by <a href="https://www.footmercato.net/a3830313787029559677-moise-kean-plait-beaucoup-a-manchester-united" target="_blank"><em>Foot Mercato. </em></a> </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Following a disappointing second stint at Juventus, Kean made a fresh start at Fiorentina in a £11 million move last summer. His impressive return to form has propelled Kean into the spotlight and is now reportedly being discussed alongside the likes of <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-utd-transfer-targets-win-europa-league-champions-league-qualification/blt31a7cb7a2108078f" target="_blank">Viktor Gyokeres, Liam Delap, and Victor Osimhen</a> as part of Amorim’s shortlist for attacking reinforcements. </p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>Unlike some of United’s other targets, Kean offers a more economical solution to the striker dilemma. The Fiorentina man has a £42.5 million release clause embedded in his current deal, a price tag that becomes active for just a short window, from July 1 to July 15. Given the inflated costs associated with acquiring <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/rasmus-hojlund-challenged-score-more-goals-ruben-amorim-man-utd-striker-ends-goal-drought-late-equaliser-bournemouth/blte0b0d9e054fd8ee8" target="_blank">elite-level forwards like Gyokeres</a>, the lower fee for Kean could be an attractive proposition, especially if United are operating under financial constraints. However, with the clause only applicable for two weeks in July, time will be of the essence for any interested parties. However, United won’t be alone in their pursuit, with Bayern Munich also keeping tabs on Kean’s progress. </p>
