<p>Earps became the seventh footballer to win the award, following in the footsteps of Bobby Moore, Paul Gascoigne, Michael Owen, David Beckham, Ryan Giggs and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/beth-mead-mary-earps-rivalry-lionesses-bbc-sports-personality-of-the-year-man-utd-2023-award/bltf21b64710bea84f7" target="_blank">fellow Lioness Beth Mead, who won last year's award.</a></p><p></p>
