<p>According to <a href="https://www.givemesport.com/manchester-united-offered-world-class-brazilian-in-antony-swap-deal-romano-exclusive/ " target="_blank"><em>GIVEMESPORT</em></a>, the Serie A giants wanted to enter into talks with United when former director of football Cristiano Giuntoli was calling the shots. He proposed that Antony could trade places with fellow Brazil international Luiz. </p>
