<p>Despite his disappointing exile from United, Sancho's spirits appear to have been lifted. Alongside the young Chelsea defender, the winger may well have rediscovered a home to play his best football. Although the deal is a simple loan, Sancho will be keen to show he still possesses the talent that attracted United in the first place and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jadon-sancho-dortmund-man-utd-instant-impact/blt7554a2a82155bd32" target="_blank">has already made a fast-start back</a> in the Bundesliga.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>It took Sancho just <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/jadon-sancho-dortmund-man-utd-instant-impact/blt7554a2a82155bd32" target="_blank">22 minutes into his return for Dortmund to register his first assist</a> back in the Bundesliga. The 23-year-old found his friend and captain, Marco Reus, to put the side 2-0 up against SV Darmstadt and earn Dortmund three points.</p>

<p>Maatsen will likely return to Chelsea after his short spell in Germany and will push for a spot in the Blues starting line-up.
