Man Utd confirm American tour for 2025! Red Devils to face Premier League rivals West Ham, Bournemouth & Everton on U.S. soil

<p>United have announced they will return to North America for the Premier League's Summer Series in July and August. The Red Devils, who have <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-pre-season-2024-tour-fixtures-results-tickets-watch/blt40910657efdd28df" target="_blank">played pre-season games in America for the past two years</a>, will line up against West Ham, Bournemouth, and Everton.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>United's technical director, Jason Wilcox, said: "The weeks leading up to a new Premier League season is always an exciting time for Manchester United players and fans alike, and we enjoy spending that period in the US, taking advantage of world-class training facilities and stadiums, and engaging with fans. Playing other teams from the Premier League provides the players with an opportunity to gain valuable playing time against top opposition, and for our passionate fans to see some of the most famous teams in world football playing live at three of the most iconic stadiums in North America."</p><p>Club legend Andrew Cole also told NBC: "The facilities in the US provide a world-class environment for players to come and prepare for the upcoming season and bond as a group. Playing three Premier League sides, in three iconic stadiums, will be a great advert for the quality of the league. United enjoy a huge following in the US and I know fans will be incredibly excited about the prospect of watching and engaging with the team when they return this summer.”</p>

WHAT JASON WILCOX SAID

<p>This news comes at a time when United are <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/why-would-you-go-man-utd-red-devils-told-why-recruitment-twice-as-difficult-club-legend-cant-compete-top-players/bltb1a88d0fd3010967" target="_blank">out of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup and are languishing down in 14th in the Premier League</a>. Such is their current plight, they may not be the favourites to win this round-robin tournament against Everton, Bournemouth, and West Ham.</p>

THE BIGGER PICTURE

<p>United have confirmed that they will face West Ham at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 26, followed by Bournemouth at Soldier Field in Chicago on July 30.
