The vacation comes after Casemiro was snubbed by Dorival Junior, as <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-in/lists/brazil-copa-america-2024-squad-dorival-junior/blt3c3e8b96dd3771ab" target="_blank">he left the 32-year-old out of his Copa America squad</a>.</p>

<p>Casemiro endured a difficult season, as his form regularly fluctuated, with United finishing eighth and also winning the FA Cup. He made 25 Premier League appearances in total, and captained the club in their 4-0 defeat to Crystal Palace, but also missed a chunk of the season with a knock. </p>

THE GOSSIP

<p>The former Real Madrid ace will hope to put the 2023/24 season behind him while on holiday. In the meantime, Brazil face the USMNT in a friendly this week, and then play Costa Rica, Paraguay, and Colombia in their Copa group. </p>
