<p>Diallo's existing contract at Old Trafford runs until June 30, 2025, though the club have the option to extend it by one more season. <a href="https://www.espn.in/football/story/_/id/43019772/man-united-amad-diallo-advanced-contract-talks-source" target="_blank"><em>ESPN</em></a> report that United are <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/give-amad-diallo-contract-deserves-man-utd-chill-guy-becoming-ruben-amorim-main-man/blt4cfa7c87e497145d" target="_blank">planning to tie down the youngster with a long-term contract</a> and are in 'advanced talks' with the player. They are trying to reach an agreement with him before the end of 2024.</p>

<p>The 22-year-old has been in the limelight for his <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/man-utd-player-ratings-vs-man-utd-amad-diallo-bruno-fernandes/bltb03c82b8611d0e05" target="_blank">heroics in the Manchester derby</a> on Sunday. After captain Bruno Fernandes brought United on level terms at Manchester City with an 88th-minute penalty strike, the youngster scored a brilliant second goal to seal crucial three points for his side at Etihad Stadium.</p>
