<p>The England international has reportedly been <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/marcus-rashford-barcelona-dream-rekindled-manchester-united-outcast-receives-boost-joining-hansi-flick-la-liga-champions/bltbc117f507c4c3197" target="_blank">eyeing a Barcelona transfer</a> for some time, and now the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/incredible-few-months-marcus-rashford-heartfelt-message-aston-villa-injury-loan-goodbye-permanent-return-man-utd/blt69e4eac304694661" target="_blank">former Aston Villa loanee</a> has, arguably, dropped a not-so-subtle hint that he wants a Blaugrana move. He also backed the 17-year-old Yamal to win this <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/ballon-dor-2025-power-rankings/bltd009fae5576d751f" target="_blank">year's Ballon d'Or</a>.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>When asked if he wanted to play with Yamal one day, he told Spanish YouTube channel<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CryjyjVrKOc" target="_blank"> XBuyer</a> in Marbella: "Yeah for sure, everyone in the world wants to play with the best. Hopefully, we will see." And on Yamal's Ballon d'Or chances, he added: "If you look at it just off football ability, he has to win."<br></p>

WHAT RASHFORD SAID

<p>Rashford likely has no future at United after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/revealed-reason-marcus-rashford-dropped-ruben-amorim-extended-man-utd-exile-attacker-punished-rule-break/blt0c2c9cb5c5acd2c6" target="_blank">falling out with head coach Ruben Amorim</a>. It does not seem certain that Villa will take up the £40 million ($53.8m) option to sign the 27-year-old this summer, and with <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/marcus-rashford-barcelona-dream-over-man-utd-outcast-sweating-transfer-nico-williams-pursuit-return-red-devils-pre-season/bltf52c308477553a92" target="_blank">Barca reportedly set to sign Athletic Club's Nico Williams</a>, he is facing an uncertain future.</p>
