He has reportedly received many offers from around the world, from including Australia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Japan. However, a road back to his homeland has opened up for Balotelli, as <a href="https://genova.repubblica.it/sport/2024/10/07/news/genoa_tutti_gli_affanni_fra_scelte_di_mercato_e_infermeria_piena_ecco_come_gilardino_cerchera_di_risolvere_la_crisi-423539502/" target="_blank"><em>Repubblica</em></a> reports Genoa head coach Alberto Gilardino has called him to discuss a possible deal.</p>

<p>Genoa are not the only team linked with the former Inter and AC Milan player. According to <a href="https://www.lastampa.it/speciale/sport/calcio/qui-toro/2024/10/06/news/zapata_infortunio_torino_balotelli-14693815/" target="_blank"><em>La Stampa</em></a>, Torino are also considering signing the 36-time Italy international after they lost forward Duvan Zapata to injury.</p>
