The announcement was made this Thursday by the club’s board, following several weeks of negotiations.Jiménez, who had expressed his desire to continue playing in the Premier League, now sees his wish fulfilled after an impressive individual campaign. The 34-year-old forward joined Fulham in the summer of 2023 from Wolverhampton Wanderers and, after a slow start, has become a key figure in Marco Silva’s attacking setup.This season has marked a resurgence for the Mexican international. He has found the back of the net 13 times across all competitions — 11 of those coming in the Premier League — making him Fulham’s top scorer for the 2024–25 campaign.Jiménez revealed that he had received offers from both Major League Soccer and clubs in Saudi Arabia, but ultimately chose to remain in the Premier League to stay at the highest competitive level.
