In addition, the record champions have imposed a hiring freeze. </p><p></p>

<p>Until now, it was only known that sporting director Max Eberl was to make drastic cuts to the squad's spending and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/revealed-selling-kingsley-coman-arsenal-70m-bayern-munich-pursuit-real-madrid-man-city-florian-wirtz/blt7fd5a49bdddf7d70" target="_blank">generate money from player sales next summer</a>. Most recently, BILD reported that only nine players from the current squad are considered indispensable. </p>
