<p>According to <a href="https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/06/06/trevoh-chalobah-targeted-by-napoli-no-chelsea-guarantees/" target="_blank">The Telegraph</a>, Chalobah is attracting interest from Serie A champions Napoli and although Chelsea are not actively looking to sell him, the club cannot guarantee him first-team football next season.</p>

Chelsea are known for their willingness to sign new players, so the duo's futures may rest on whether or not they need a guarantee of being a starter next season.</p>

<p>The Telegraph adds that with Wesley Fofana due to return as Levi Colwill's first-choice central defensive partner once he <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/wesley-fofana-injury-setback-chelsea-defender-miss-remainder-season-surgery/bltc57b11765a63bc72" target="_blank">recovers from injury</a>, Chalobah may find himself on the bench more often than not next season. The 25-year-old is keen to be part of the England squad for the 2026 World Cup, so that may come into his thinking.</p>
