<p>Salah <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/liverpool-player-ratings-vs-man-city-mohamed-salah-dominik-szoboszlai/bltf1f4f62ed6ac1cc9" target="_blank">scored and set up another as the Reds claimed the win</a> to go 11 points clear at the top of the table with 11 games left to play. Almost five years have passed since Salah won his sole Premier League title to date and the Egypt star says it is imperative that they see out the job this season.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Salah was asked by <em>Sky Sports</em> if he is playing at the best level of his career, but the 32-year-old stressed winning the English crown is the only important thing. </p><p>"I don't know. It is opinion. Maybe people prefer my first seasons or now but I prefer now because winning the league, helping the young players, it is special," he said. "We need another title. Me and the big guys in the team, we need another title."</p>

WHAT SALAH SAID

<p>Salah now has an incredible 25 goals and 16 assists in 27 league games this season and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/more-history-mohamed-salah-liverpool-egyptian-king-premier-league-record-book-achievement-cristiano-ronaldo-thierry-henry-never-managed/blt48a63a8b5d307e7d" target="_blank">is one goal involvement away from matching his most prolific season</a> since joining in 2017. However, he has <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/more-out-than-in-mohamed-salah-makes-huge-admission-liverpool-future-disappointed-reds-talisman-claims-yet-receive-offer-new-contract/blt7b7a8cab9bbdbc7f" target="_blank">claimed this is likely his final year</a> at the club with his contract expiring in the summer, which explains his urgency to get his hands on another winners' medal.</p>
