New Balance unveil their long-awaited collaboration with Italian sportswear brand Stone Island. After UK rapper Dave debuted the collaborative kit at his annual Santan Cup back in September, New Balance has finally graced us with a release date for what is set to be an instant sell-out collection.
The football collection will include a limited edition pair of New Balance x Stone Island Furon v7, to be debuted on the pitch by New Balance athletes and England stars Raheem Sterling and Bukayo Saka. Other components featured will be a New Balance x Stone Island football kit and special edition 574 legacy shoe.
New Balance x Stone Island The football boots are the stars of the line-up in the collaborative project between both brands. They come in a camouflage all-over print, paying homage to Stone Island's famed archival pattern and feature the infamous compass logo. The Furon v7's feature a Hypoknit upper with a mesh lining for breathability and off-centre lacing to deliver an increased strike zone.
New Balance x Stone Island The collector's edition full kit will feature a jersey and shorts, outfitted in an original Stone Island camouflage pattern, inspired by the brand's archival designs, and a silicone application of the iconic compass logo. Solid black socks add a rest to the eye and sleek disruption of the head-to-toe camo print.
The iconic 574 Legacy completes the collection. This modernised classic features a ripstop and suede upper and dark green colourway, for a deconstructed archive-inspired look.
