The goalkeeper was at fault for Thomas Partey’s goal and seemed unsure at times whenever he had to rush off his line as well as when he received the ball to feet.

The captain kept his composure from the spot to equalise. Played a few good balls over the top for the frontmen.Defensively, Troost-Ekong seemed more comfortable than his centre-back partner.

The Rangers man played a few errant passes and was caught out on a couple of occasions, albeit without being punished.

The right-back delivered a solid showing in Abuja, aiding the side’s ball progression and giving little away defensively.

While he put in a few menacing crosses into the Ghana box, Bassey was vulnerable defensively at times and his influence waned as the game progressed.Replaced late on as Augustine Eguavoen got desperate.

While the Napoli frontman offered the usual tenacity out of possession, he missed a trio of chances to win the game for Super Eagles and moved early for the disallowed goal.

Did not dominate his duels after replacing Onyeka — losing five of seven altogether — and hardly helped the side’s ball progression in the second half.
