Northern lights: David Beckham & Mary Earps left in awe as they show off personal snaps of stunning purple night sky

The northern lights, also known as the aurora borealis, appeared in the sky on Friday night across the world as a powerful solar storm struck the earth for the first time in over two decades. As the sky turned purple creating a stunning visual, Beckham and Earps took individual snaps and posted them on social media.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The two football stars uploaded their respective snaps as Instagram stories. The custodian played a key role as the Lionesses reached the World Cup final in 2023, having won the European Championships two years prior.
