WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Pogba continues to remain a free agent since leaving Juventus in November. The Frenchman is now able to return to football after <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/paul-pogba-doping-ban-ends-mls-saudi-arabia-reduced-suspension/bltea9abf469010d33f" target="_blank">serving an 18-month suspension for a banned substance</a>. His initial punishment of four years was reduced on appeal. <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/paul-pogba-training-miami-ex-man-utd-star-vows-get-fit-after-doping-ban/blt1b386711c7783c0f#csf31d2c8a06eba51b" target="_blank">The midfielder has been training alone</a> since April, trying to regain full fitness before joining a new club.</p>

<p>Neymar's reunion with his boyhood club Santos has not been a grand success, as more fitness problems have limited his game time since he moved back to Brazil in January. The winger had signed a short-term deal with Santos, which will remain valid until the end of June. The player is yet to sign a new deal with the Brazilian side as he <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/why-neymar-three-games-santos-shirt-future-doubt/bltd9d03729f648aaf0#cse6158cedaef7ea7b" target="_blank">remains uncertain about his future</a>. </p>
