WHAT SCHOLES SAID

Mainoo has been the breakout star for Manchester United in a rather dull season and has rightly earned praise from stars and fans alike. It was his goal against Manchester City that gave the side the two-goal cushion which saw the Red Devils secure a second trophy in two years under Erik ten Hag.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

The Manchester United duo will likely have very differing futures ahead of them with Amrabat's stay at set to come to an end as the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/lists/manchester-united-to-cut-ties-sofyan-amrabat/bltf664c6e4754e3f49" target="_blank">Red Devils are not expected to sign the midfielder permanently</a>.
