<p>Both Manchester United and Manchester City have suffered poor campaigns and former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit believes they are in a group of the worst-performing bosses in the top flight, along with Tottenham's Ange Postecoglou. </p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>United are set to suffer their worst-ever Premier League campaign, requiring 22 points from their last eight matches to avoid their lowest points tally in the competition, while City's run of four consecutive titles is set to come to an abrupt halt. Petit insists both managers could have done more to improve their teams' fortunes - but accepts Amorim is not totally at fault for United's problems.  </p>

<p>United host City at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday but both sides are aiming for different silverware between now and the end of May. United take on Lyon in the Europa League quarter-final this month, while City face Nottingham Forest in the semi-final of the FA Cup. </p>
