Parkinson was full of praise for Fletcher who put Wrexham ahead after 20 minutes against their rivals Notts County. The veteran striker led the line with Paul Mullin and powered a shot <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-ng/lists/steven-fletcher-hero-wrexham-notts-county-league-two-promotion-top-two-lose/bltb1184aff7ea4bb7f#csa5ede96172f7bcd0" target="_blank">into the roof of the net to put the Welsh side in the lead</a>. Parkinson's side saw off pressure from Notts County to keep a clean sheet and put an end to a poor run of form.
