<p>Arteta, who is still seeking his first major piece of silverware since lifting the FA Cup during his debut season in 2020, believes the contrasting point totals underline the critical role of timing in football success. While the Gunners narrowly missed out on domestic honours once again, Arteta and his squad still have a chance to end the season on a high, as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in the <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/champions-league-knockout-stage-bracket-every-round-2024-25/bltf9c07b9fbd256e14" target="_blank">Champions League semi-final </a>second leg on Wednesday evening.  </p>

<p>Before the match, Arteta shared his perspective on the challenge of winning trophies and said, "We're going to try to do this season. Winning trophies as well is about being in the right moment, in the right place. Liverpool have won the title with fewer points than we have in the last two seasons. Hopefully, here we are in the right moment, in the right place in Paris tomorrow, to earn the right to be in the final."  </p>

The Gunners travel to Parc des Princes trailing 1-0 on aggregate, with PSG’s narrow win at the Emirates—sealed by a first-leg goal from Ousmane Dembele—giving them the edge heading into the return fixture. Luis Enrique’s side, who have already clinched the Ligue 1 crown, will be aiming to make home advantage count. Arsenal, meanwhile, must produce a strong away performance to keep their hopes alive of reaching a first Champions League final since 2006.   </p>
