WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>The royal Aston Villa fan was pressed on his favourite celebration before going on to pick the best player in a Q&amp;A with Villans defender Tyrone Mings, and named Barcelona legend Messi as his number one.</p>

<p>Asked in the interview with <a href="https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/33839491/prince-william-aston-villa-footballer-ronaldo-messi/" target="_blank"><em>The Sun</em></a> for the celebration he would want his ideal footballer to have, the prince said: "Well the most iconic I guess is Cristiano Ronaldo's." </p><p>When Mings asked him if he has tried to replicate the famous 'Siu' celebration in his garden, he said: "Well, obviously! And then I do a hammy."</p><p>He was then asked to put his favourite players head-to-head and ended up with Ronaldo against Messi, giving the nod to the Inter Miami player.</p><p>"Gotta go Messi, just," he said.</p>

WHAT PRINCE WILLIAM SAID

<p>Messi has not featured in Inter Miami's last three matches but will be available for their Champions Cup match against Cavalier in Jamaica this week. Ronaldo and his Al-Nassr team-mates will face Al-Kholood in the Saudi Pro League on Friday.</p>
