The Bundesliga club is reportedly aiming to bring in a marquee winger this summer to add depth and spark to their squad, and the AC Milan No.10 is firmly in their sights.</p>

WHAT HAPPENED?

<p>Leao’s agent, Jorge Mendes, maintains a strong relationship with Bayern’s sporting director, Max Eberl, which could reportedly help facilitate talks if the interest becomes serious. Despite enduring a mixed campaign in terms of form, with just 12 goals and 13 assists across all competitions, there’s little doubt about his abilities, which has led Bayern to target him as they look to revamp their flanks.</p>

Should the Seagulls refuse to negotiate or demand a fee Bayern deems excessive, the club may pivot quickly toward the Milan forward as a viable alternative.</p><p>However, Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Florian Wirtz is considered to be the crown jewel of their transfer wishlist.
