WHAT HAPPENED?

But Mbappe has never won it in his career to date, only coming close when Paris Saint-Germain reached the final in 2020 and getting to the semis while a teenager with Monaco.</p>

<p>It will be some time before fans get to see Mbappe out on the pitch in the iconic <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-gb/team/real-madrid/3kq9cckrnlogidldtdie2fkbl" target="_blank">Madrid</a> kit. The expectation is that he will be in action with France in the latter stages of Euro 2024 until mid-July, after which a rest is vital. From a marketing point of view, Madrid officials would love to get him onto the club's pre-season tour of the United States, with games to be played there between July 31 and August 6.</p>
