Yoro, 18, is expected to try to force a move this summer. And with a number of top clubs circling, Los Blancos are among the favourites, according to <a href="https://theathletic.com/5386409/2024/04/02/leny-yoro-transfer-real-madrid-lille/" target="_blank">The Athletic</a>.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Lille have repeatedly offered the teenager a new contract, but he has turned them down at every juncture. With his current deal set to expire in 2025, <a href="https://www.goal.com/en-us/lists/transfer-battle-real-madrid-psg-centre-back-leny-yoro/blt3702866630e4ab0a" target="_blank">the French club are preparing for the reality of having to sell Yoro this summer</a>.

THE BIGGER PICTURE

Les Dogues were expected to demand a massive fee for Yoro, telling suitors that they wanted at least €100 million (£85.6m/$108m) in order to secure his services. This summer, though, they may be forced to drop their asking price, giving Los Blancos and others hope that a move might be workable.
