Martinez is not the only United player who has struggled with injury this season. Key men such as Luke Shaw, Mason Mount, Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo, Anthony Martial and Rasmus Hojlund have all missed significant chunks of the campaign with physical issues. Bruno Fernandes has captained the team <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/man-utd-bruno-fernandes-defence-polarising-on-field-theatrics/bltda155a88efe9b275" target="_blank">but has often been criticised for his on-field theatrics</a>.
