<p>According to a report by <a href="https://cadenaser.com/nacional/2025/06/23/el-real-madrid-pone-precio-a-rodrygo-90-millones-que-seran-la-llave-para-fichar-al-mediocentro-solicitado-por-xabi-alonso-cadena-ser/" target="_blank"><em>Cadena Ser</em></a>, Rodrygo’s move to Arsenal might happen, with Madrid considering selling him. In the Club World Cup, he started against Al-Hilal but coach Xabi Alonso left him on the bench for the game against Pachuca. The winger might be at the juncture of a possible move, with Madrid firm on their €90 million ($104m/£76m) asking price.</p>

There has been uncertainty about his future for some time and <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/xabi-alonso-rodrygo-future-real-madrid-forward-arsenal/bltb382089e359f2ba0" target="_blank">new coach Alonso suggested he wants him to stay</a>. However, after young forwards Gonzalo Garcia and winger Brahim Diaz got the nod ahead of him against Pachuca, he may consider his options. Apart from Arsenal, Manchester City were also a club who were interested in him last summer, and reportedly have reignited their pursuit for him.</p>
